Updates

We are getting ready for our trip to Seattle and trudging through the last few days at school into vacation. I have found it is best to stick with easy topics like immigration and industrialization during this time period so that the kids can get material while they are distracted by the holidays. I have been battling off pneumonia and the baby has two ear infections that we are trying to clear up before the flight. Oh well off to the gym.

Setting up the tree

We set up the decorations on the tree today. Lil Drew just kept yelling tree and bringing over things for us to hang on th tree. Although we will be traveling to Seatle for the holidays we thought getting in the spirit would be great!

The Tree is now up and we are in the process of making sure everything is clean and organized.

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends and family. We are spending the holiday in Somers with family. We hope everyone is with their family this day and that all of you are enjoying the blessings our country has to offer. We send out special wishes to our troops who are far away from their families this holiday.

The Long Veterans Day weekend

Hi everbody I am hanging out with my parents this weekend. I really enjoy having the time to spend together and I am learning many new words. Hope all is well with everyone and we are looking forward to seeing people in Seattle at Christmas.

WASHINGTON, DC—Political scientists at the Cato Institute announced Monday that they have inadvertently synthesized a previously theoretical form of government known as megalocracy.
"We were attempting to recreate a military junta in a controlled diplomatic setting, and we applied too much external pressure," said head researcher Dr. Adam Stogsdill, a leading expert in highly reactionary ruling systems. "The resultant government has the ruthless qualities of a dictatorship combined with the class solidarity of a plutocracy—it's quite a remarkable find."
Stogsdill explained that megalocracy is extremely unstable and can only exist in idealistic conditions for a few minutes before collapsing into anarchy.

Colors are late this year in fact many of the trees have yet to change. This time of year trees are normally without leaves. Strange. This is the latest fall I have ever seen in New York.

The last day of Summer is here and dad has to go back to work. I really loved the water this summer and I have really grown. Look out day care here I come.
