One of the great things aboyut living around here is the fall foliage around the lakes and such. We love just heading out and having a good time in the peace of the fall folliage.



About a year ago if you look back on this blog you will see a picture of myself as a newborn. Here I am at just over a year in the same spot. The idea is to take a picture of me each year in the same spot to see how I have changed.

The town is just so pretty this time of year.

Coping with being 1

Being 1 is much harder than I originally thought it would be. I mean come on. Now everyone expects me to stop acting like a baby. No way! My great Uncle Jim and my great aunt Helen have stopped by for a visit. It is the first time that I have seen them and I know already that I like them. I am growing by leaps and bounds and my newest trick is taking off my socks in the car as we drive around town. This is all amking me so tired. Oh something weird happened when I turned one for some reason my car seat has been replaced by a bigger one and now I can sit forward.

This weekend we celebrated Drew's first birthday with all of the relatives. More coming soon.

Today we are over at Grandma and Papa's House. They got me a booster seat. Only one week until my one year old birthday!

Summer means PaPa Time too

Summer time means PaPa time with my italian grandfather. He is teaching me Italian little by little.

Baby Prison

That is right the new crib is together and the baby is standing on the edge feeling like he is in prison. He slept in it overnight and seems to like all the room. Mom and dad like that they do not have to worry about him crawling out of the crib and getting into trouble.

Pots and Pans

I have discovered pots and pans today as a great way to make noise. Using a metal spoon you can make quite a racket by banging the cold shiny stuff together. Thanks for showing me how to make just tons of noise Grandpa! In other news I had some fruit, some milk, and some juice today and now I am getting ready for lunch. Bye Bye. . .

The weekend

Hey all the weekend has been great with my mom and my dad. :)

Hi Everybody!

I am really getting this feed myself with the bottle thing down. I mean it really is not that hard at all. Today it is really hot here and we are expecting some severe weather--whatever that is?????



While mom was at Columbia finishing her Principal degree I have been hanging out with dad (Mr. Mom). We visited moms school and the Alpha office and I took a little break in the sink while dad took care of some pressing business for mom. Also I went to the Bronx, Inwood, Washington Heights and PACE University on the subway. Dad keeps me busy and well fed, but mom still calls to check in to see how we are doing.

Hey all I'm getting big!

Boy am I getting big. I can roll over and evrything and even hold my own bottle. I am looking forward to hanging out with my dad this summer while my mom attends columbia.

I have been very ill and could not post but here is the latest.
Drew is doing well except for an ear ache. Although he is still not sleeping through the night he is sleeping longer. This is good.
